I think I mentioned before that I really don't enjoy rap or hip-hop. But I think Macklemore is becoming an exception.

And I don't pay much attention to main stream radio these days but something about the melody in this one is irresistible.

I hate rap and hip/hop in general. 

But this song has become an exception. An actual positive message of awareness.  Bravo.  Right on.  

The combination of the piano and female vocalist works so well. Beautiful.

Thanks to last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy this song is currently stuck on a loop.

And the April flashmob proposal was pretty much the only bright spot in the whole ep. 

With so much more drama coming up in part 2 of the finale next week, I think I'll just go back to enjoying this song.

Song of the Moment: Ingrid Michealson & Sara Bareilles-Winter Song

With the snow falling on the ground the last few days the song seems very appropriate.  I love the very subtle melody and lyrics perfect for sitting and relaxing around this time of year.

I fell in love with Ingrid Michaelson after hearing a bunch of her songs on Grey's Anatomy.  And I must say I'm really starting to enjoy Sara Bareilles as well.
