This one is a cute little parody about the former planet Pluto and it's loss of planetary status and demotion to "dwarf planet" which I've talked about earlier in the year. It's a fun video so I once again decided to share:). And just to make things clear it is not made by me;).

Saturn, Mars, Venus and....Eris?
Sounds weird doesn't it? well unfortunately people are gonna have to get used to it. It is the official name of the "dwarf" planet 2003UB313 nicknamed "Xena". It's moon nicknamed "Gabrielle" has also been officially named "Dysnomia".
Eris is named after the Greek goddess of chaos and strife. I guess the chaos part is somehow appropriate. Considering it was the planet that kicked Pluto out stripping it of it's planetary status. Thereby forcing everyone to re-write new astronomy books, which we will eventually have to go out and buy lol.
Here is a Yahoo article with more details:

Pluto no longer the 9th planet
I wanted to post about this yesterday, but Blogger was having some problems. The planet Pluto has been demoted to a "dwarf planet" and ripped of it's planetary status. Because it did not meet the new definition of what a planet is.
All I can say is I feel sorry for all those librarians and everyone who will now have to go back and make a note about Pluto no longer being a planet lol.
Planet UB313 nicknamed "Xena" and it's orbiting moon "Gabrielle" by one of the CalTech's planetary scientists Mike Brown, will also join Pluto as one of the "dwarf planets". The word is still out on whether the planet will keep this name. I for one am all for it:D.
