'Bones' production shut down due to swine flu

Just because "Bones" production has been shut down thanks to an outbreak of swine flu, doesn't mean that the show's star, David Boreanaz has it ... necessarily.

EW.com reports that a spokesperson for the show is saying that David is out sick, but didn't specify if he's out sick with swine flu. “David is out with the flu and the show shut down today since he was in every scene,” says the rep. “We hope to resume production tomorrow.”

News began to spread of the outbreak on set after "Bones" creator Hart Hanson is the person who first tweeted the news of the outbreak on the show's set. He said, “First time in Bones history we are shut down from production. Damn swine flu! That’s gonna cut into Christmas hiatus.”

He later took to Twitter again to clarify that it doesn't seem like David has the swine flu at all.“There is no indication that Boreanaz has swine flu," he wrote. "We expect him back tomorrow. I’m now going out to get swine flu myself in atonement.”

Well, Hanson you don't have to do that. We’re sure that our guy is just fine. We mean he can't die right? He's a vampire!

David Boreanaz's bundle of joy has arrived. Wife Jaime Bergman delivered the couple's second child, daughter Bardot Vita Boreanaz, on Monday, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. Baby Bardot weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and joins big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home.


The birth comes as a relief to Bones star Boreanaz, who had been staying close to home in case Bergman, who had been on bed-rest, went into labor. "I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that," the former Angel star, 40, told PEOPLE recently. "If I do, I'll freak out – I have to be there when the baby comes."

Now that Bardot has arrived, the couple can breathe easy. "We've been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited," Bergman, 33, recently told PEOPLE's Celebrity Baby Blog. "We're over the moon.” The new season of Bones will premiere

Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.

Bardot? kind of a weird name, but seems to roll off the tongue easier with the Boreanaz last name.

I thought it started out well, but kind of fizzled out in the end, and just became incredibly lame. I agree with Thomas who's idea was this?.

Yep, more stuff from San Diego this time on a show I don't mention very often for some reason even though it is an absolute fave, Bones.

I found a couple of spoiler-filled reports from the Comic-Con Bones Panel that I thought I would share.

The first one is (once again) from EW.com and the second from TV Squad which includes some nice pics.

But where the heck is Dr. Brennan herself (Emily Deschanel)?. Guess she was busy solving crimes in the lab.

The most important tid-bit to take away from both articles?.

"This year, Booth (Boreanaz) and Brennan (Deschanel) will be in bed together naked".

Whoo-hoo!, Booth and Brennan fans rejoice! ;) ( and it better not be some kind of dream sequence damn it).
