Zac Hanson and wife welcome baby #4!

MMM-tot: Zac Hanson is a dad again!

The Hanson drummer and wife of 10 years Kate welcomed their fourth child on Saturday, Aug. 6, his rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

“We are overjoyed to share the arrival of Mary Lucille Diana Hanson,” the 30-year-old musician tells PEOPLE exclusively of their newest addition to the family, who was born in Zac’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, weighing in at 8 lbs., 4 oz.

The couple’s daughter, who will go by Lucille, joins big sister Junia Rose Ruth, 5½, and big brothers George Abraham Walker, 2½, and John Ira Shepherd, 8.

“It is such an inspiration to meet her and to imagine all of the adventures we will take together as a family of six,” the father of four adds.

Aside from her siblings, Lucille has eight cousins to hang out with in Isaac andTaylor Hanson‘s children. Isaac, 35, is dad to sons James Monroe, 8, and Clarke Everett, 9, as well as 2-year-old daughter Nina Odette with wife Nicole.

Taylor, 33, has five children with wife Natalie: Jordan Ezra, 13, Penelope Anne, 11, River Samuel, 9½, Viggo Moriah, 7½, and Wilhelmina Jane, 3½.

Most of the Hanson clan goes by their middle names, including Isaac (whose first name is actually Clarke, like his oldest) and Taylor (whose first name, likehis oldest, is Jordan). Their desires for a big extended family are no surprise, as the Tulsa-raised Hanson brothers are themselves the oldest of seven children.

And like with Taylor’s children Penelope (A.K.A. Penny) and River, Lucille’s name will resonate with Hanson fans. On the band’s breakout album Middle of Nowhere — which turns 20 next year — “Lucy” was the only song which featured the youngest Hanson member on lead vocals. And “Diana” is special, too — it’s the name of Zac and his siblings’ mother.

“It’s fun this time to watch the little ones so excitedly anticipating their new sibling,” Zac, who recently performed with his band on Greatest Hits, said shortly before his son Abraham’s birth.

The band — who are also beer connoisseurs on top of being musicians — notably opened their own independent record label in 2003, under which they released their latest album Anthem in 2013. Their newest EP Loud was released to members in May, and their upcoming EP Play will be available on their website beginning Oct. 10.

Michael Jackson 3 year anniversary

..In the hearts of his fans as they remember him through his music on his third death anniversary

When Michael Jackson was once asked how he would like to be remembered, he had said: 'As a person who came and brought light to the world, some escapism.' Today marks the third death anniversary of the King of Pop. Fans across the globe are set to celebrate his life and music.

While some organise concerts to pay tribute to the Thriller star, others like city-based artiste Nikhil Gangavane are going a step further to connect with MJ fans. In 2003, Nikhil wrote and sang The Michael Jackson Anthem when the star needed it the most (during his infamous trial).

Nikhil will pay tribute to his idol once again. He is all set to re-record the song and invite MJ fans to send in their sample voices after which he will select and use their voices in the song. Nikhil says, "The song was sung by fans who were present at the trial. Two million people downloaded it before MJ passed away. After his demise, it was downloaded by 4.3 million people."

For keyboard player Leo Mathew, Michael Jackson was one of the finest musicians in the world. "He had the groove and the moves. He was a star from childhood. My favourite song is I want you back by Jackson 5," says Leo.

While a lot of fans will go back to listening to some great songs sung by MJ, musician Mihir Joshi is playing it a bit differently. He plans to dedicate his 140th episode on his blog to MJ. He will play some rare songs that Michael crooned along with other singers like Celine Dion, Britney Spears and Paul McCartney. He says, "It's a rare duets show. I searched a lot and found some gems! I have been constructing this one for a few weeks now." Some of the songs which he will feature include What More Can I Give, The Way You Make Me Feel and Say Say Say.

Remembering MJ through creativity seems like a good initiative, says singer-songwriter Lionnel Mascarenhas, who recently moved to New Jersey. An ardent MJ fan, he shares, "As a teen I used to listen to metal bands and Michael Jackson. In 1991, when I first saw the video of Black or White by MJ, I was totally amazed by the quality of the music video. My first MJ CD was Dangerous and I used to listen to it every night." Michael Jackson had the best sound engineers in the world, he adds. "Whenever you play a CD by other artists and then play an MJ CD, you can literally hear a huge difference in the sound and production," he says.

And thus, MJ's music will play on and he will live through it.

You can never have too many Whitney Houston tributes.

In 1997, the late singer performed her hit "One Moment In Time" at the grand opening of Arthur Ashe Stadium. Her rousing vocal capped off an hour-long ceremony that paid tribute to the American tennis hero and celebrated the opening of the $254 million stadium.

Shania Twain engaged!!

Canadian pop-country star Shania Twain is engaged to Swiss business executive Frédéric Thiébaud.
Twain's manager, Jason Owen, confirmed the news on Monday after celebrity magazines such as Us Weekly and People reported Twain's upcoming nuptials.

No other details, such as the date of the wedding, were released.

The singer, who was born in Windsor, Ont., and raised in Timmins in northern Ontario, confirmed in 2009 that she was dating Thiébaud, a Swiss-born executive with Nestlé.

Her 14-year marriage to Robert (Mutt) Lange fell apart in 2008 following allegations the hit music producer was having an affair with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, who had worked for the couple at their Swiss chateau and who was at the time married to Frédéric.

After their respective divorces, Twain, 45, revealed she reached out to Frédéric and the two grew closer.
"Having gone through the suffering of his family splitting apart at the same time and under the same extreme circumstances, he understands me better than anyone," Twain revealed to her fans in an open letter in August 2009.

"We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all, as have our children, Eja [her son with Lange] and Johanna, Fred's eight-year-old daughter."

Amid her personal problems, Twain drew away from the celebrity spotlight, but has been slowly returning with the occasional public appearance, including serving as a guest judge on American Idol.

Atria Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster, announced this fall that the Grammy Award-winning Twain will publish an autobiography in the spring.

She is also set to host Why Not? With Shania Twain, a show about coping with life after divorce, on Oprah Winfrey's new TV network, OWN.

Celine Dion & Rene Angelil welcome their twins

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Canadian songstress Celine Dion has given birth to premature but healthy twin boys at a Florida hospital.

A statement released from St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., says the pop diva delivered the boys Saturday afternoon.

The hospital says one boy weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, while the other weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces.
Dion's husband Rene Angelil, 68, expressed his joy at a press conference a few hours after the births.
"I did cut the cords, both cords ... it's a great feeling," said a beaming Angelil.
"I hope to provide to them all the love that I can for as long as I can."
Dion's obstetrician Ronald Ackerman said the singer and her husband were two of "the most caring and kind individuals" that the hospital has cared for.

He added that the twins, though healthy, would spend the next few days in an incubator because they were born early.

He also said both baby boys were born with a good amount of hair.
Quebec-born Dion is thought to be in good health as well.

She was hospitalized earlier this week after displaying signs of early child birth. She was in her 35th week of pregnancy and was due to deliver in November.
Dion and Angelil are already the parents of 9-year-old Rene Charles.

The couple has tried for years to have more children. Dion's yet unnamed twin boys come after the superstar singer went through several rounds of fertility treatment and even suffered the loss of a pregnancy in 2009.

In an interview earlier this year, Dion said she hoped that by publicly sharing her struggle, she could help others.

"If I help people through my voice, through my interviews, through what I go through, I do not want to change that at all," she said. "I think it's making a difference."
Dion, a five-time Grammy winner who has sold tens of millions of albums, announced earlier this year that she would be returning to Las Vegas for a three-year run at Caesar's Palace. She had a hugely successful five-year run in Las Vegas that ended in 2007.

Zac and wife Kate Hanson expecting baby #2!

There’s another Hanson baby on the way!

Zac Hanson and his wife Kate are expecting their second child, and the rocker couldn’t be more thrilled, he tells PEOPLE.

“I am so excited about the new addition to our growing family and for the stories and inspiration this person will bring to the world,” says the drummer, 24 — one-third of the trio Hanson — who just released their latest album, Shout It Out.

“Life is so short,” he adds, “And there is nothing better than getting to share life with our children.”

The new arrival will join older brother John Ira Shepherd, 2, plus a clan of cousins: Zac’s brother Taylor has four kids with his wife NatalieEzra, 7½, Penelope, 5, River, 3½, and Viggo, 18 months — and brother Isaac and his wife Nikki have two sons — Everett, 3, and Monroe, 2.

In addition to a built-in playgroup, the new baby is also likely to have an early shot at stardom — two of the younger Hansons, Ezra and Penelope, appeared in the band’s new hit video for their single “Thinking ‘Bout Something.”

Remembering the 'King of Pop'

Today marks the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. Hard to believe a whole year has passed already.

Growing up you always hear people say that they remember exactly where they were when something major happened, or when so and so died.

I never fully understood that until that exact thing happened to me last year. The memories of that day are still quite vivid.

I was on vacation in Poland. My mom, niece, sister and I decided to head to the beach that day.

We got up really early around 5:30 am.

We spent more time traveling to the destination then we did on the actual beach, which was a total of about 2 hours.

It was a warm day but not hot enough to go swimming which is why we cut it short.

I remember having no problem with that since I was quite tired from spending so much time out in the sun, and all the walking we had to do just to get there.

We finally arrived home late in the evening and I decided to go on the net to check my email. I found my in box flooded with R.I.P M.J. messages.

For the first 2 minutes I just sat there thinking someone was playing a really cruel joke. After some further searching I found out it was indeed true.

I spent the next few hours watching various news outlets (mainly U.S. ones) report on the event.

I was surprised how much coverage it was receiving since Micheal always seemed more popular in Europe then in North America.

And although we did cover it, it was nowhere near as extensive as in the U.S. I was also surprised at the positiveness of the whole thing.

For years the U.S. media had painted him in such a negative light. Calling him 'Whacko Jacko'.

Always pointing out the strange things he did never any of the good humanitarian things he was quite famous for.

It seemed like as soon as they learned of his death they all of a sudden did a complete 180 and painted him as the hero instead of the 'whacko' they so often highlighted him to be.

I watched the funeral footage the following day on Youtube. And got more and more emotional as it went on.

When his daughter Paris got up to the microphone to speak that's when it really hit me. And I shed quite few tears. I remember feeling such intense sadness.

A feeling that stayed with me for a good couple of weeks afterwards.

I think the sadness was a combination of sorrow for the kids he left behind, and the realization that I would never be able to see this musical icon in concert.

Even though I knew there was very little chance of that ever happening. As long as he was alive the hope was always there. Having that hope so suddenly dashed was extremely difficult to fathom.

The saddest thing of all though was watching all that news coverage, and thinking how unfair it was that he was finally getting the respect he deserved but never really got when he was alive.

I guess that's how it always is though, you never truly appreciate a person until they're no longer there.

R.I.P. Michael. Hope you have the peace and harmony you fought so hard for all your life.

Celine Dion and Renee Angelil expecting twins!

Celine Dion is expecting twins and is already 14 weeks along, her rep Kim Jakwerth confirms.

The 42-year-old Canadian chanteuse became pregnant after attempting her sixth in-vitro fertilization and turning to acupuncture to improve her chances of a pregnancy.

“We’re ecstatic,” her husband/manager Rene Angelil tells People. “Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing.”

The twins will be joining big brother Rene-Charles, 9.

20 years later.....

This is quite a few days late, but this past Sunday May 16th marked the 20th Anniversary of Jim Henson's death. Hard to believe it's been that long doesn't it?.

For those who don't know he was the man behind 2 of the most influential children's programs of our time. Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.

The above clip is perhaps my all time favourite Muppet Show moment, no matter what mood I'm in, or how old I get this never fails to make me laugh.

These shows were pretty much responsible for creating some of the best memories of my childhood.

The lovable timeless characters were also in large part responsible for teaching me to speak English.

R.I.P Jim. You may be gone, but your genius and art will never be forgotten.

David Boreanaz and wife welcome baby girl!

David Boreanaz's
bundle of joy has arrived. Wife Jaime Bergman delivered the couple's second child, daughter Bardot Vita Boreanaz, on Monday, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. Baby Bardot weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and joins big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home.

The birth comes as a relief to
Bones star Boreanaz, who had been staying close to home in case Bergman, who had been on bed-rest, went into labor. "I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that," the former Angel star, 40, told PEOPLE recently. "If I do, I'll freak out – I have to be there when the baby comes."

Now that Bardot has arrived, the couple can breathe easy.
"We've been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited," Bergman, 33, recently told PEOPLE's Celebrity Baby Blog. "We're over the moon.” The new season of Bones will premiere

Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.

Bardot? kind of a weird name, but seems to roll off the tongue easier with the Boreanaz last name.

Congrats to David and his wife on the new arrival :).

Shania Twain engaged!

Shania Twain has found love again and is getting hitched according to Star magazine. Interestingly enough, she’s getting married to the ex-husband of her friend Marie-Anne Thiébaud, who was “the other woman” in the affair with Shania’s hubby, Robert “Mutt” Lange.

Star magazine reports that Frédéric Thiébaud and Shania Twain have been showing off their matching promise rings at Shania’s cottage in the Muskoka region of Ontario. A source dished that the couple have plans to get married next year.

Seems awfully fast to me. Guess we'll find out next year whether it's true or not.
