A year ago on this day...

I started this blog, hard to believe I've stuck with it for so long. Didn't think I would but I've enjoyed every minute of it (or should I say every word?=). It's fun for me to go back and read over things from a year ago.

Writing on my blog has also proven to be a great stress reliever. To all my visitors returning and new thanks for sticking around and reading thoughts from my warped little brain. :) I hope all of you continue to visit and maybe even leave a comment now and again.

BLOG ARCHIVING 101

I was debating on whether to say anything about this but my frustrations on this issue won out. Before I get to what this is all about I just wanna say this is only a friendly reminder though it's delivery may not sound as such blame it on the type of mood I'm in.

Ok, so on with the topic, I think a lot of people from my visitors, to my friends, to my family members are under the impression that my blog is only focused on Tennis. And I admit it may seem that way at first since the main reason I started it was to share my passion for the sport with other people. But I must point out that the reason people have that impression is because a lot of them don't check the little feature on the blog called an archive.

Let me explain how it works, first off any topic that I write on any given day will be at the very top, that's because an archive sorts the posts in accordance to it's date so the most recent post will always be at the top and the days proceeding it will be at the bottom.

I also have to point out that when clicking on an archive (located right underneath previous posts on the right side of the blog) you are looking at the total posts from the entire month not just one day (for example the month of March). So that means the month may contain anywhere from 1 to 31 posts.

Oh, and I cannot stress this point enough when visiting my blog be sure to scroll down and read the entire page (keep going down till you see the page counter) because as I've mentioned above the month contains more then one topic. I know it may seem time consuming to some but that's just the way the blog is set up, one month is one long page.

Is anyone detecting frustration at this point? lol

Oh, and one more thing I did start the blog last year which means it now contains topics from 2006 and 2007 so be sure to click on them that's what they're there for.

Again please remember to scroll down, I'm sick of being accused of covering only one topic, when in fact I cover many.

Something new, something old

Just added a new link to the link section of the blog called Go Fug Yourself. It's basically a site that makes fun of really ugly celebrity fashion and celebs in general. Very amusing, and good for a laugh. So check it out;).

And don't forget to vote in the mini poll. Since I don't care about who wins on the women's side I have changed it to the men's instead. Cast a vote I'm curious who you think will win the U.S. Open:D.

Well now that Rogers Cup is finished and the U.S. Open is coming up in a week I wanna know how well do you guys think Martina Hingis will do there?. How far do you think she'll get?. So vote;).

Wow I noticed that my counter at the bottom of this page has reached 1000 views/visits so thanks to all of those who come and check out my blog. That's pretty cool! and not bad for 6 months:D. I'm glad to know that people are interested in my views and what I have to say. So thanks again and keep those visits coming! ;).

Small update

I have just added a mini poll to my blog. I removed the vote casters button since that one didn't seem to be all that popular I thought polls would be more fun:). It's just a way for me to know which topics on my blog are of bigger interest. Plus I'm just curious;). The poll is right underneath my guest book and profile.

The Easter preparations are going well, and since I'm not much of a cook I'm staying out of the kitchen and out of my parents way lol. But with the way things are progressing it looks like I won't be able to move from the amount of food I will have to consume lol.

Well I think I have all the bugs worked out:)

Well I played around with the blog yesterday and I think I learned how to do a bunch of stuff, I will be adding more blogs once my life gets more exciting 'cause right now it's pretty snooze worthy . Till then I'll just keep making little random posts like these. lol I better stop or I'll keep rambling on I've only had like 4 hours of sleep today and I'm not making much sense.

This is what happens when one is a night owl like myself and then receives unexpected company at 9 or 10AM the next morning, you end up walking around like a zombie for the rest of the day. lol Hopefully there will be days when my thoughts are a little deeper then this and hopefully a little more insightful.

I have to say though I could definitely get addicted to this thing.

Ok, little embarrassing

Ok, obviously I'm still learning to use this thing because I have no clue what I'm doing lol, I posted a blog but the body of it is not showing up lol. And in this invisible blog I wrote that it's pretty user friendly I think I'll have to retract that statement now lol. And gotta say putting up links is not as easy as I thought but I'm learning. And here I go babbling on again, I have a feeling that will happen a lot lol.
