First Sharapova Now Maria Kirilenko :(

Well Martina Hingis fought hard against Kirilenko but lost in a tough 3 setter. She played wonderfully, the rallies were incredibly long. They were so long in fact that Martina suffered a cramp in the third set and had to call a trainer.

From what I have read Martina plans to take the next 3 weeks off to rest and train and I guess get ready for her tournament in Poland and French Open in May.

Which I think is a very good idea it'll give her time to improve her game. She definitely deserves a breather, after all unlike a lot of the other players on the tour this year she has been playing non-stop since January '06 after a 3 year break.

So good for her glad she's taking a small break. And I wish her luck all around in all her upcoming tournaments in May. Although knowing her she'll probably play one more tournament at the end of April lol.
