'The Amazing Race' 15 cast revealed

Among the teams are a couple Harlem Globetrotters, professional poker players, married yoga teachers, a person with Asperger's syndrome and the aforementioned mixed couple, Ericka Dunlap and Brian Kleinschmidt.

It's been a head scratcher that it's taken "The Amazing Race" 15 seasons to put an interracial couple in among its competitors.

We've always noticed it in the Zap2it offices and wondered at the glaring omission.
Check out photos of the racers. As usual, Phil Keoghan will return as host.

The new season will span eight countries in only 21 days and will feature a few surprises: a visit by an American entertainer, a "spicy" twist on a Japanese game show, a team elimination before they even leave the starting line, and a "Switchback," in which the teams revisit on of the series' most infamous Roadblocks.

The 15th season of "The Amazing Race" premieres on Sunday, Sept. 27.

I've been wondering why it has taken the producers so long to get an interracial couple as well.

Over the past 14 years we've had practically everyone else!. But better late then never I guess.

Unlike in all past seasons no hints about which countries the teams will be traveling to. Interesting.

That could mean one of two things, either they are all countries the teams have been to many times before.

Or they'll all be entering into some uncharted territories.

I'm very curious about the aforementioned " spicy" twist as well (I'm thinking gross food challenge).
