Canadian pop-country star Shania Twain is engaged to Swiss business executive Frédéric Thiébaud.
Twain's manager, Jason Owen, confirmed the news on Monday after celebrity magazines such as Us Weekly and People reported Twain's upcoming nuptials.
No other details, such as the date of the wedding, were released.
The singer, who was born in Windsor, Ont., and raised in Timmins in northern Ontario, confirmed in 2009 that she was dating Thiébaud, a Swiss-born executive with Nestlé.
Her 14-year marriage to Robert (Mutt) Lange fell apart in 2008 following allegations the hit music producer was having an affair with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, who had worked for the couple at their Swiss chateau and who was at the time married to Frédéric.
After their respective divorces, Twain, 45, revealed she reached out to Frédéric and the two grew closer.
"Having gone through the suffering of his family splitting apart at the same time and under the same extreme circumstances, he understands me better than anyone," Twain revealed to her fans in an open letter in August 2009.

"We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all, as have our children, Eja [her son with Lange] and Johanna, Fred's eight-year-old daughter."
Amid her personal problems, Twain drew away from the celebrity spotlight, but has been slowly returning with the occasional public appearance, including serving as a guest judge on American Idol.
Atria Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster, announced this fall that the Grammy Award-winning Twain will publish an autobiography in the spring.
She is also set to host Why Not? With Shania Twain, a show about coping with life after divorce, on Oprah Winfrey's new TV network, OWN.
