The top-seeded pair of Sania and Hingis defeated the unseeded Timea Bacsinszky and Chia-Jung Chuang 6-1 6-1 in 60 minutes.
With the win, the Indo-Swiss stay on course for their second consecutive women's doubles Grand Slam victory. The duo had lifted the Wimbledon crown in July.
